Indulge in luxury chalet life in the understated atmosphere of bygone eras enhanced with state-of-the-art amenities and technologies. Whether you’re looking to celebrate an event, organise a gathering, stage an exhibition, or throw a party, this magnificent chalet and barn offers the ideal setting.
Built in 1808, the meticulously crafted chalet welcomed travellers, their horses, and carriages for overnight stays. The quality craftsmanship, evidenced by the impressive wooden beams, and top-class materials used in the construction are evidence of the region’s wealth.
In 1862, a spacious barn was added, first serving as a dairy farm but later hosting numerous events, parties, dances, and acting as a storage area. By 1907, a railway was built in Saanenland, welcoming the era of leisure tourism. Interestingly, the very first ski lessons in Swiss history occurred on the gentle slope in front of the estate in 1932.
In 2020, the chalet and barn were restored and renovated with love and care under the guidance of the Swiss historical monument’s authority.
